By Charlie Jackson

1. The most important thing is your profile picture as it could be the only thing she sees! The best profile picture you could have is one where you are with a very hot girl who is enjoying your company.

2. The rest of your photos should ideally show a sprinkling of you with other hot girls! This way, any girl you message will know that females feel safe around you and that you are a great guy!

3. Also show some photos where you are taking part in awesome hobbies such as rock climbing or snow boarding. You need to get across the point that you are interesting and fun.

4. Turn your relationship status off! If you volunteer the information that you are single, then you are making it too easy and obvious for her!

5. If you use Facebook, don't use the silly applications that they offer! Don't kiss, hug or poke either. You should be way too busy for that!

6. Take a look through your wall posts. If there's anything that shows you in a bad light, then delete it. Be ruthless! There should be nothing boring or stupid on there!

7. You need to collect wall posts from your hot female friends. Preferably they should be inviting you out for a drink, a night out at a bar or club, or a chat!

8. To be a pick up artist online, you need to use your profile to demonstrate that you are fun, friendly, busy, important and intelligent. Don't make it look like you spend your entire life on Facebook.

For Prolonged Mattress Life Use a Waterproof Mattress Protector

By William Brown's

If you have recently just acquired a mattress, you will want to make sure you keep it protected for many years to come. It is not very important whom the mattress is for; a waterproof mattress protector will help make your mattress last keeping it secure from soiling of all kinds. Since you will be spending hundreds of dollars on a mattress, it really is an investment and should be protected like one.

If you've gotten that new mattress for a small child, of course you're thinking that you need a waterproof mattress protector to protect from any accidents that child is going to have at night. And they do make things easier in this scenario, don't they? Instead of having to toss your child's mattress out every couple of years because you need to get a new one due to the soiling that's happened, you can save yourself both trouble and plenty of money by protecting that mattress with a waterproof mattress protector.

However, waterproof match protectors are not just for small children who might have accidents at night. Because they can protect from any type of soiling, they're useful for older children and adults, too. (And of course, they're indispensable for anyone with incontinence problems as well besides small children.)

There are many other scenarios that can happen as well in the bed like spilling milk or even wine, also crumbs may make it into the sheets and grind into the mattress if you so happen to be eating or drinking in the bed, but with a waterproof mattress protector you can protect it from spills and soiling that can occur. This will help make life more relaxed, because you do not have to worry as much if you do eat and drink in the bed.

If you spill something, no problem. Simply pick those sheets up, throw them in the wash, and things are fresh and good to go -- no stain to get out of the mattress. But putting a waterproof mattress protector on your mattress also helps protect it from absorbing dust and dirt that's not liquid.

If you have allergies, this is certainly something you want to keep in mind. In other words, a waterproof mattress protector keeps your mattress as clean and pristine as the day you bought it. And that will help you sleep more comfortably for many years.

Finally, there's another reason a waterproof mattress protector is a good idea. That is, think, "dust mites." When you put a waterproof mattress protector on your mattress, you not only protect it from soils, dust and dirt, but you also protect it by keeping these nasty little critters out of your mattress.

It does not matter how clean a mattress is they will always get into the mattress if it is not protected. These nasty microscopic bugs eat your dead skin cells and leave the waste in your mattress causing allergies, asthma, and other symptoms, which is not necessary.

Safe yourself the money, headaches, and time and just invest in a waterproof mattress protector as a mattress toppers that will remain new for many years.

Medicaid And Long Term Care Insurance A Blessing For The Aged US People

By Janet Fisher

Medicare and Medicaid are the two things that have been customized for those folks who are below the poverty line. It was made an amendment in the US in the year'65 to the social security act. The people that were included in this were those below poverty line with youngsters, adults aged more than sixty five, people with disabilities, folks who are blind, pregnant girls who are very poor, people with low income and excessive medical bills.

The Medicaid is usually funded by the central government and the state government together but almost all of the time the state government. Decides the planning and the functioning of the entire system. The most significant things this may be covering are services in the hospice, expenses for the laboratories, special nursing care and facilities like the treatment at the home. Sometimes even the charges for calling a doctor and assorted health examinations for kids and ladies are covered in this.

Long term insurance for the hospital therapy is received by those who are blind and folk with incapacities. These people typically won't be having any source of revenue except the supplemental security income that they are going to be getting. Previously the governing body did not include the aged, blind and those with disabilities for SSI but now they made them fit for it and making them avail the benefit of Medicaid.

After this has been done, there was a big rise in the number of people who are using these services and when accounted according to the ages the old age folk have filled up a major chunk of the same. Many people are satisfied after the presidency. Started Medicaid for them.

After that the number of people choosing this long-term care has increased by many folds and so did the budget grant rise. Now the medical budget is placed 4th in the whole of Fed budget. All of the states also have the same for Medicaid where they are given an outstanding position in their budget. But if this case continues after some years the executive. May not be ready to run in sound state and might even finish up in bankruptcy.

There are just 4 states that give long term care policy which include Big Apple, Connecticut, Indiana, and California. This policy will help them by exempting from spent resources. Medicaid will intervene and salvage the situation when the policy benefits have been exhausted. The main reason this policy is good as you are eligible even after you maxed out the policy benefits, you'll be able to enjoy the custody of state policy and you will still get home care facilities.

Some of the major things that are included in this insurance policy are that you are given three years of nursing care and home care for six years. Defense against inflation with 5 %, respite care for 14 days which is replenish-able and 30 days of extra period as grace, so you can pay your premium in case there's some trouble.

Almost all of the time an insurance policy will help with benefits like saving your assets, giving you long term care as often as you want and wherever you want. It can be at infirmary or at home. That's why so many Americans who are old and eligible are using it at length.

Things To Remember While Constructing A Modern Office

By Wendy Ruiz

Office designs have transformed a lot since the times when they were popular just as good looking luxurious designs that served no utilitarian purpose. Today it is almost unanimously believed that good office design reflects the work culture of the organization and raises the productivity levels of the staff, besides ensuring employee retention.

Transparency, flexibility and sustainability are the three underlying principles that you need to remember when constructing a modern office. The office system furniture and the office interior design must be picked judiciously in order to successfully attain these important objectives, and a few considerations in this regard ought to be made.

Firstly, the work that will be carried out inside the office on a regular basis has to be identified and understood. This together with the floor area available will help you appropriately finalize on the interior design. As you develop the layout you should keep in consideration the number of office staff members who will be working currently and in the coming years.

You should accommodate cafeterias and conference rooms as well in your layout within the available space besides essential items like office desks and some pieces of office system furniture. Recreational areas, which can be equipped with pool tables or chessboards, are also very essential as the employees can use them to relax after long periods of work. Besides, the entire planning of the office must be such that the available space is used efficiently and without leading to any clutter.

A theme of minimalism and use of refined and soothing colour schemes that would not distract the employees are important features of an ideal office interior design. It must also not be dark, and natural light should come in freely.

Office system furniture nowadays is trendy and chic with a personal touch, which helps in boosting the employees' spirits and creates a good impression on clients. However, choose only such office desks and office chairs that are ergonomically built so that workers' health is not put at risk.

You can choose 'green' furniture if you seek to present an image of an environmentally conscious company before clients. You will take an active stance against environmental degradation if you choose this kind of furniture, which is typically made from natural fabrics and recycled items. To further work on this theme, you can opt for energy efficient lights and other electrical devices that lower energy consumption.

When designing your office, it is vital that you engage a professional and seasoned office interior designer who can make sure that your office becomes easy and safe to work in, and at the same time be elegant to look at.

Jets End Three Game Losing Streak With Win Over Raiders

By Ross Everett

The New York Jets and rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez found a sure fire cure to their recent struggles-a game against the lowly Oakland Raiders. Sanchez passed for--3 yards and a touchdown, plus added a rushing touchdown as New York thumped Oakland 38-0 in the largest regular season shutout win in franchise history. The Jets improved their record to 4-3 while the Raiders dropped to 2-5.

NFL football betting enthusiasts who took the Jets as -6 road favorites had smooth sailing throughout the game for an easy pointspread cover. The Jets improved to 4-3 against the spread while the Raiders fell to 3-5 against the number. The 38 points scored went OVER the posted total of 34. Oakland failed to score a touchdown for the 15th game in the past four seasons.

It was such an effortless game that the only thing that Sanchez had to apologize for was surreptitiously eating a hot dog near the end of the contest:

"I want to apologize for that. I wasn't feeling very good and didn't eat much before the game, so I was feeling a little queasy. Toward the end of the game, I probably should have eaten one of those bars or something, but someone offered a hot dog, so I grabbed it and tried to be discreet about it, but obviously not discreet enough. So I shouldn't have done that, and it won't happen again."

The Jets capitalized on three early Raiders' turnovers and started two of their first three drives inside the five yardline. Sanchez praised the defense for making his job easy:

"It makes it so easy on the offense when your defense is playing like that. Hats off to them, they had a heck of a game to shut that team out. I don't care who we're playing, that's a big-time accomplishment for our team."

Jets' coach Rex Ryan was very pleased with Sanchez's performance:

"Sanchez was great. He was just smart with the football. I think sometimes he could have put the ball on a receiver, but he was making sure the ball wasn't intercepted. It was great to see him respond."

Raiders' defensive lineman Richard Seymour, who boldly predicted the team would make the playoffs despite their slow start, was singing a different tune after the rout:

"I don't think we could have beaten an Oakland high school team today."

Despite Russell's struggles, Oakland coach Tom Cable remains committed to him as the team's starter:

"I thought he was really out of sorts early in the game. I just did not feel like at that point he gave us the best chance to have the success we needed to have offensively and made the move. JaMarcus will continue to be our starter. There is no issue there."

The Raiders will try to bounce back this weekend in a big rivalry game on the road against the San Diego Chargers. Oakland is +16' road underdogs with the total set at 42'. They'll then enjoy a bye week before back to back home games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals. The Jets host Miami this Sunday, with New York a -3' home favorite and the total set at 40'. They'll also have a bye week to look forward to before returning to action at home on November 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Radio Flyer Scooter: Improve Activity Level For Your Three To Five Year Old

By Rob Fillmore

Remember the little red wagons called My Little Red Flyers? The same company that produced the classic little red wagon has a line of scooters. The Radio Flyer Scooter comes in several different models so that children as young as two years old can successfully operate a scooter. An example of the company's products includes a My 1st Scooter.

For a youngster to get excited about a new scooter, it must be in line with the physical abilities of the child. The early childhood Flyer scooter is designed to be safe for the child to operate. Falls and collisions are inevitable, but scooters must also be fun for the child. The physical abilities will improve over a few months during this period of the childhood. Learning to operate the toy safely will help physical and mental development.

The My 1st Scooter model has a foot pad that is a full 12 inches wide. Instead of a single front wheel and two rear wheels, this model has two wheels in the front of the platform and one at the rear. This design gives the toddler stability. The platform can also be used as a place for the child to be seated while being towed around.

The old-model Flyer wagon in red metal with white lettering dates back to the 1940's and 1950's. The Radio Flyer scooters are designed in durable plastic. The scooters are the same red as the wagons, with white lettering. You can also purchase My 1st Scooter in pink.

Children get on the scooter by simply stepping up and onto the platform. Tricycles can be difficult for a child to climb onto, simply because they are not well balanced. Safety is important for increasing the confidence of the youngster. Scooters are easy to get on and off.

Radio Flyer also manufactures a scooter with a more traditional 2 wheels in the rear and one in the front. This model is called Radio Flyer Little Red Scooter. It is suitable for slightly older children, but a five-year-old might be too big for riding comfortably. The platform is a bit too short for the older child, so ankles tend to get banged and bruised.

Because the Little Red Scooter is so maneuverable, it can be operated on the carpet or on any relatively smooth surface outdoors. The single front wheel means the scooter turns sharply. Because of this feature, the scooter may end up going a little faster that safety would dictate. Crashes are not unusual, especially if the operator tries to turn a corner too quickly and loses control of a scooter.

To protect your child while riding a new Radio Flyer Scooter, you should make certain that necessary safety equipment and clothing is part of a safe riding outfit. A lightweight helmet to protect the child's head and elbow pads to protect from skins and bumps is key to safety in play. The child also should wear knee pads and shin pads for protection from scrapes and bumps. Because the equipment doesn't weigh much, children are more likely to choose to wear it.

How To Protect Your Roof Shingles From Termites ?

By Scott Rodgers

The wood materials are commonly employed in rendering a framework to the roofing architecture. Ranging from the trusses to the shingles, wood finds its place. Hence, wooden units represent the strength of your roof to a large extent. Like the other roofing segments, the wooden units too are susceptible to wear and tear. Furthermore, a possible termite-attack keeps haunting the wooden spread of the roofs. The areas underneath the roof shingles are prone to water or moisture accumulation and hence, such areas are susceptible to possible termite attacks.

The examination job of the roof to recognize the affected parts is not a tough task. A casual observation of the roof surface may help you in locating the concerned areas. In addition, you can use a roofer's shovel or pry bar tool to lift up the shingles.

With the help of a ladder, climb up to the roof. Look out for the patterns on the roof that appear odd and distinct. Furthermore, inspect the holes, voids or fecal pellets of the roof to determine the source of a termite-attack. In addition, chewed or damaged segments of the roof should be examined to apprehend the intensity of the attack. Normally, the homeowners look for traits of sawdust on their roof to locate the affected region on the roof.

After exposing the affected region, purchase certain amount of commercially available chemicals from a local home improvement store. Before you go ahead with the application of the concerned chemical solution, apprehend its usage guidelines. An improper application may prove hazardous as the solution is highly toxic. Keep all the parts of you body covered while using the chemical. Wear long sleeves and pants to safeguard against the chemical nature of the solution.

The chemical would take some time to eliminate all the termites from the concerned area. After the application of the chemical, inspect the intensity of the damage and determine the wood shingles that need to be replaced.

The pressure-treated shingles are a better alternative than the regular wooden shingles. The pressure-treated shingles offer considerable resistance to possible termite attacks.

Follow the local building codes while installing the new wooden setup. Furthermore, the new setup must be well prepared to stand against the attack of termites.

Make it habitual to inspect and fix the leaky areas of the roof. Moisture or water complements the growth of termites and hence, such areas must be repaired to prevent problems.

Why Get Kitchen Bay Windows

By Raul Roberts

A kitchen bay window can look very nice in your room and it can be very useful. It can bring a dark, unappealing room into light. There are a lot of advantages to owning a house with a kitchen bay window. Such a window is both practical & attractive.

You may think that adding a kitchen bay window would make a beautiful accent to your room. You might not be thinking any further than that, but other reasons, apart from looks, are also important in choosing a bay window for your kitchen.

The appearance are definitely the primary cause for your purchase. There are three aspects to the looks of kitchen bay windows. One is the window frame. Bay windows can have several frame types. Nowadays they are metal frames when you buy them in the store, but you can seat them in new woodworking to let them become a part of your home. If you have an older home, you can buy used lumber to fashion you framework & sill from them instead. Whatever you do, make a point your window will be framed beautifully.

You also need to put into consideration the glass itself as a part of your window. If you are deciding how large to make the window, you also must decide how many sides that the bay window will have. This is because a bay window has at least 3 (or more) glass panes put together at angles. You can have several panes, or you can have a simple three-pane window.

Sunlight is a specialty of bay windows. sunshine streams into your kitchen and breakfast nook areas once the sun is in the proper direction. If your windows face west, you will get afternoon sunlight and if they face east, of course you will get morning sunshine. No lighting fixture can brighten your kitchen in a fashion that the natural light from the sun does. Besides, the kitchen bay windows give an open feeling in a room that may otherwise seem too closed off.

Home Improvement Tips To Increase Its Capital Value

By Luis Eddison

After a prolonged use, when the walls of your house display cracks, roofs start dripping rain water or the paint starts peeling off, it's time to understand the urgent need for renovation. And while you are planning the refurbishment of your home, you must take a few critical points into account to obtain best results.

What needs to be altered and what requires to be mended is the first thing that you must consider. For instance, a growing family requires added living space, so the house may have to be extended for the reason, or a vacant space may have to be used for building a car garage. And, in case you find your kitchen too soiled or congested, you may desire to spruce it up with new cabinets or chimneys to make it clutter free and airy.

Some household electrical appliances fixed in the kitchen or the bathroom can also be repaired or changed as part of the renovation process to make the house appear as good as new in every respect. Nothing can be more satisfying than living in a home that has undergone a properly carried out renovation.

Some people also refurbish their house to make it more appealing to prospective buyers and hence enhancing its value in the market. Excessive expenditure on renovation of a property in order to demand lucrative prices in the resale market is quite prevalent. But if the rise in the eventual price that the house draws in the market is lesser than the amount spent on renovating it, then the landlord might have to repent for his lavishness later on. Hence any decision regarding spending design.

come before any renovation activity as you would want to make sure that you are distributing your funds appropriately to different aspects of the house. The budget has to be prepared with some extra sum included in it that might come in handy in case expense surpasses your initial estimate, which is quite frequently the case.

If you find the contractor's price too exorbitant for you to meet, you can also consider the choice of availing home renovation loan. Many renovation loan schemes provide money to loan seekers in easy payback installments, which make home renovation possible for all.

you feel the need then get an expert involved.

Hypnosis - Unraveling The Mysteries Behind It

By Adam Cox

Hypnosis and its arm, hypnotherapy, have been the focus of several myths created by popular imagination. Some consider them to be occult whereas others discard them as pseudo science. Given below are some general beliefs prevalent about hypnosis, and the real facts behind them.

There is no practice of occult involved in hypnosis. It hinges more on the science of psychology and is very easy to practice for anyone who is prepared to learn it. People refuse to acknowledge hypnosis even after seeing participants successfully undergoing it in public shows. They say that hypnotised subjects allow practitioners to perform well in their art by not displaying enough will power to withstand the effect of their words. But nothing could be farther from the truth. Even mentally strong people can fall under the charms of an expert hypnosis practitioner.

That hypnosis is an alternate state of consciousness is another myth that has been circulating for quite some time now. A hypnotized individual is fully awake to what is going on around him. During the hypnotic state, the subject relaxes completely and is thus able to concentrate fully on the suggestions provided by the practitioner.

Some researchers have found that hypnosis succeeds on just 5% of the human population, and this is another prevalent myth. The researchers are to some extent true in their own way, because they tried hypnotising their subjects by the same hypnosis method without acknowledging individual differences in character and temperament. One hypnosis technique for all is not a workable answer as different people come under different character types, and hence are responsive to different methods.

Meditation and hypnosis are usually confused with each other. But while hypnosis is a communication technique, meditation is all about a mental state and usually has nothing to do with communication. Trance too is not related to hypnosis at all. Just like meditation, trance is a mental state, and it is not linked with communication in any manner, on the other hand the very basis of the hypnosis technique is communication.

Another myth is that physical and behavioural changes in a person are not attainable through hypnosis training or hypnotherapy. Hypnosis certainly cannot transform the body in abnormal ways. However, it can guide the body to a better shape through behavioural changes like eating in a controlled manner, and quitting smoking and other addictive habits by ensuring a good amount of of inspiration in a person.

If an individual believes in all the misconceptions that prevail regarding hypnotherapy and doesn't venture to participate in a hypnotic session, then he will himself burn the bridge to a better and healthier life.

The Area Rug Pad - Extend The Life Of Your Rug

By Lance Esondi

Rugs have two issues that need to be dealt with when you use them inside your home. The first is the wear is tear on them. This happens when furniture is on them for long periods of time as well as from being walked on. The second issue is that rugs don't stay in place. They tend to move across the floor slowly whether on hard floors or carpet.

There is a solution to both these problems. Get an area rug pad and it will help hold the rug in place so it doesn't creep along the floor as easily as well as cut down on the wear and tear on the rug. It's a better solution than other options like staples, sticky glues, tapes, and artificial rug backings.

How do you make sure the pad fits the rug?

You want to find a pad that is slightly smaller than the rug because you don't want the edges to stick out on the sides. Just a few inches smaller for the whole rug will work. Many pads might say they are made for your size of rug, just expect them to be a bit smaller. Sometimes you might have to cut a rug pad down to size if too large or if your rug had an odd shape.

What thickness of pad is needed?

Some pads are thick and others are rather thin. Thick pads provide more cushion on the rug. If you want that thick cushion when walking on it, get the thicker pad. These also help protect the rug more if there is larger furniture on the rug. A thin pad are mostly designed so that the rug won't slip. You might not want a thick pad but just need the rug to hold itself in place. A thin pad is easier to cut if that's something you need to do.

Be sure to at least get an inexpensive rug pad as soon as possible. It will help extend the life of your rug and make it much easier to work with.

Computer Training - Web Design Uncovered

By Jason Kendall

For anyone looking to get into a web design team, studying Adobe Dreamweaver is a fundamental criteria for getting relevant certifications that are globally recognised.

The full Adobe Web Creative Suite additionally should be learned in detail. This will introduce you to Flash and Action Script, (and more), and means you'll be in a position to take your Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) or an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) accreditation.

Building a website is just the start of the skill set required though - in order to drive traffic to the site, maintain its content, and work with dynamic database-driven sites, you'll need to bolt on more programming skills, like HTML, PHP and MySQL. It would also be a good idea to gain a working knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation and E Commerce.

You should only consider study courses that'll progress to commercially accepted exams. There's an endless list of trainers promoting minor 'in-house' certificates which are worthless when it comes to finding a job.

Unless the accreditation comes from a company like Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco or Adobe, then it's likely it will be commercially useless - as it'll be an unknown commodity.

Commercial certification is now, very visibly, already replacing the more academic tracks into the industry - so why has this come about?

As demand increases for knowledge about more and more complex technology, industry has had to move to the specialised training that the vendors themselves supply - in other words companies such as Microsoft, CISCO, Adobe and CompTIA. This usually turns out to involve less time and financial outlay.

In a nutshell, only that which is required is learned. It's not quite as straightforward as that, but the principle remains that students need to cover the precise skills needed (including a degree of required background) - without going into too much detail in everything else (as degree courses are known to do).

Just as the old advertisement said: 'It does what it says on the tin'. Employers simply need to know what areas need to be serviced, and then advertise for someone with the specific certification. Then they're assured that a potential employee can do exactly what's required.

There is a tidal wave of change flooding technology in the near future - and this means greater innovations all the time.

We're barely starting to get to grips with how this will truly impact our way of life. The way we interrelate with the rest of the world will be significantly affected by technology and the web.

A usual IT technician throughout Britain has been shown to receive considerably more than employees on a par in other market sectors. Standard IT salaries are around the top of national league tables.

It's evident that we have a significant nationwide demand for qualified IT professionals. In addition, as the industry constantly develops, it looks like this pattern will continue for the significant future.

Most people don't even think to ask about something that can make a profound difference to their results - the way their training provider segments the courseware, and into how many parts.

Trainees may consider it sensible (with training often lasting 2 or 3 years to gain full certified status,) that a training provider will issue the training stage by stage, as you complete each part. Although:

It's not unusual for trainees to realise that the trainer's standard order of study isn't as suitable as another. You may find that a different order of study is more expedient. Perhaps you don't make it at the pace they expect?

To avoid any potential future issues, it's normal for most trainees to insist that all study materials are delivered immediately, and not in stages. It's then your own choice how fast or slow and in what order you'd like to work.

The Variety Of Roses Colors: What You Should Know

By William Ilich

There are so many different colors of roses out there that you have to choose from, and so you are thus going to have to make some serious decisions on the colors of roses that you are going to want if you are planning on planting roses in your garden.

The Available Colors Of Roses

There are basically all different colors of roses, and so whether you want red, pink, lavender, yellow, white, whatever - you are sure to be able to find it. Not only that, but there are also different methods that are available for you to use which allow you to basically create whatever colors of roses you would like.

The color of your roses is incredibly important for a variety of different reasons, particularly in regards to how you plant them, so that you can come out with a proper and beautiful color scheme in your garden.

After all, you do not want a whole bunch of one color in one area and then have it scattered throughout the rest of the garden, because this is going to create an unbalance. On the other hand, if you choose several colors and then even them out across your garden, then you are going to have an even and picturesque looking garden, which is what you want to strive for.

This may mean that you are going to have to put some time and effort in before you even actually go to plant the roses, however you will see how well worth it all of it was in the end, when you come out with incredibly positive and beautiful results.

The best idea then here is to take a blank piece of paper and sketch out the area of your garden (measurements do not have to be exact) and then you are going to want to use colored pencils and mark in the areas where you would like specific colors.

Then from here you can choose different flowers which are available in the particular colors, and plant them accordingly. If you take the time to plan beforehand like this, then you will see how much easier it is overall, rather than just doing it off the top of your head.

All of the time and effort that you put in beforehand is going to be well worth it in the end, and so make sure that you take your time and have patience during a process such as this.

1977 Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew

By Ross Everett

Seattle Slew--the last living Triple Crown winner--died on May 7, 2002 at the age of 28. As one of only 11 Triple Crown winners in history, he is by default one of the greatest horses in the history of thoroughbred racing. Of those 11 legendary animals, Seattle Slew was the only one to complete the Triple Crown with an undefeated record, as well as the only one to have been purchased at a public auction. After retiring in'78, Slew became one of the most important and successful stud horses in the history of the sport. He sired 1,066 foals including 102 stakes race winners. Among this impressive group of offspring was the'84 Kentucky Derby winner, Swale. All told, Slew's offspring have won an amazing $76 million dollars at the race track. Slew's stud fee of $300,000 made him a very profitable horse even after his racing career was over. Slew wasn't a particularly attractive horse, but he had the toughness of a championship boxer and the sort of intestinal fortitude and desire that can only be given by The Creator.

The Seattle Slew story began very modestly at a public auction in Lexington, Kentucky. The Keeneland Summer Yearling sale wasn't supposed to be the marketplace of champions, and the idea that this particular horse would ever amount to anything other than a farmhand was downright laughable. Slew looked clumsy, due primarily to a right forefoot that splayed outward and resulting in a shuffling gait at a trot. He also wasn't a majestic beast like his predecessor by a few years, Secretariat. Slew was borderline ugly. So ungainly a creature was he that he was given the less than inspiring nickname "Baby Huey" by the Keeneland staff. He was purchased by two couples (Karen and Mickey Taylor and Jim and Sally Hill) for $17,500. What wasn't apparent at the yearling sale was the intangibles that make up a championship thoroughbred--poise under pressure, love of competition, toughness, heart and desire. The Taylor's and Hill's had stumbled onto an equine Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan who's competitive fire quickly became apparent to the trainers that worked with him and the jockeys that rode him. His first race came at Belmont in'76, and the three races he entered--and won--as a 2 year old gave a hint of what was to come.

As a three year old, he quickly gained notice by winning his three Derby prep races, including the prestigious Wood Memorial. In the Derby, Slew got off to a terrible start as he stumbled from the gate much like War Emblem did in the 2002 Belmont. Unlike 2002's Triple Crown contender, however, Slew was able to recover from that miscue and basically force his way through a pack of other horses to position himself at the front of the field at the quarter mile pole. He went on to win the Derby by a length and 3 quarters. Another tough victory in the Preakness set up his Triple Crown winning run at the Belmont, which he won by 4 lengths.

Slew continued to campaign as a four year old, but in the days before the Breeder's Cup there weren't many opportunities for an older horse. He retired to stud in'78, where he sired champions such as the aforementioned Swale and'92 Belmont Champ AP Indy. Slew stood at Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Kentucky from'85 until early 2002 when he was moved to Hill 'n' Dale Farm in Lexington, KY following a spinal operation.

Slew was in someways overshadowed during his prime by his predecessor--and arguably the greatest thoroughbred race horse in history--1973 Triple Crown winner Secretariat. In hindsight, however, it has finally been noted what an exceptional horse he really was. Jockey Angel Cordero, who rode Slew during the twilight of his career noted "If I had a chance to take any horse in the world, if someone said your life is depending on riding one horse to win, I would take (Slew). I rode 44,000 horses, but he was special, he was different. He was muscled, like a wrestler. He ran different than any other horse. It was like he came from another planet."

After his death in 2002, Slew was buried at Hill 'n' Dale Farm in Lexington, Kentucky under a statue in his image.

Actual Day Photography In Singapore

By Ray Wong

The wedding couple are the two most important people on a wedding day. To get some excellent portraits, the photographer should seclude the wedding couple from the celebration for a while to capture the intimate moments after the ceremony. Not only will you get your pictures but this will give they wedding couple some time away from the celebration as well.

Ideally, the photographer would be required to spend a casual amount of quality time with the bride and the groom during the portrait session. But this does not always happen since time is rarely a luxury anyone has; on the actual day. The time taken for pictures can well vary from an hour to no time at all. It can take up to an hour for the photographer to take the pictures.

The photographer will require some time with the bride and groom, but when is a good time?

Most photographers tend to believe that the window before the reception is very suitable for portrait photography, since the couple would still look fresh at that time.

Sometimes the bride and groom would want to start the portrait shoot even before the ceremony says Bradley Hanson, award winning photographer. He generally starts by photographing the bride getting ready in such events.

Other photo journalists believe that the right time for a portrait session is just after the couple has exchanged their vows, and are still are evidently feeling the emotions of being newly-wed.

For the perfect actual day session to begin, the newly-weds should set aside some time to spend with the photographer. They should find ways to politely lose the relatives and guests to acquire the beautiful moments, so that they can be cherished for a lifetime.

A good portrait session on the actual day can be ruined by too many people trying to photograph the newly-weds. As a result of this, most photographers choose to have the couple alone for the shoot so that it is not disturbed by anyone.

Most newly-weds start feeling uncomfortable before the camera when the portrait shoot is going to take place, says Shawna Herring, award winning photographer. To help the couple forget the camera is there, the experienced photographer will try talking to the couple about things other then the portrait shoot.

Sometimes people will choose to go to a different location the day before the wedding to have the photo shoot done. To have a good relationship with the photographer this really seems to help loosen them up. In a short time, the couple may even forget the existence of the camera.

There are thousands of reasons why the photographer might not achieve time alone with the wedding couple. Working together with the bride and groom will help to achieve the creative portrait session.

Smart Parts Vibe Review

By Benedict Perez

From a distinguished manufacturer of paintball markers and paintball accessories, the Smart Parts has come up with a new design - the Small Parts Vibe.

Smart Parts Vibe belongs to the cheapest paintball gun Smart Parts has produced. It was introduced in the market together with SP1, EOS, and Ion XE. This gun may be cheap but it surely gives a very good performance making it popular to recon players and to those who are new in the sport.

This paintball market is a small electropneumatic gun with a nicely designed shape. It is quite light, weighing only 1lb and 11 oz, making it more comfortable and easy to manipulate. It has a length of 8.75 inches, without the barrel.

The Vibe is equipped with a glass fiver reinforced nylon grip for its frame and the body which is basically more durable and harder compared to common plastics. It has an aluminum receiver or bolt and is equipped with various firing modes. You can choose from a tournament lock semi auto, the 3-round burst, full-automatic firing mode or you may prefer a semi auto. Instead of anti-chop eyes, this paintball gun has a low force bolt which almost prevents chopping. Moreover, it also accepts impulse threaded barrels.

Performance. It may not be the fastest and the most accurate paintball gun available, but with its low price it surely gives a decent firing rate of a maximum of 11 bps. It works well with CO2, compressed air and nitrogen with an operating pressure of around 180 psi. To fully protect players from the dangers of liquid CO2, the Vibe is provided with Max Flow R Vertical Regulator.

Most people think that using SP Vibe is costly because it eats up gas. Apparently, this is not true. Actually, the Vibe is air efficient. The main problem is, these people do not use and follow instructions carefully regarding the use various gases in the marker. Initially, the Vibe is set up to accept CO2. If you preferred using others, you need to open the grip and remove the battery. You need to put the battery back while pressing down the power button. You would know that it is now set to HPA mode when the button blinked twice. These are the simple steps - plain and easy to follow. So, if you want to use your gas efficiently, it is critical that you read manual. That's the purpose of it anyway.

Maintenance. One good aspect of its design is that the bolt is placed at the back making its cleaning and maintenance quite easy. One just needs to clean their gun regularly and lubricate them, especially after each game. You also need to ensure that your 9v batteries are charged properly. Also, do not forget to return all the parts in its proper places whenever you disassemble or open up your gun.

Upgrades. You may want to change and upgrade your circuit board to improve its rate of fire. You can also change its barrels with any Smart Parts barrel.

Purchasing a gun for $140 to $150, it is one great deal you should not miss. Especially if you are an individual who is just starting out with the sport, the Vibe is suitable for you as it gives you a high quality of performance in a low price.

Bengals Make Short Work of Bears

By Ross Everett

Former Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson got revenge on the team that let him go in the best possible way. Benson amassed 189 yards rushing and led his new team, the Cincinnati Bengals, to a 45-10 rout over the visiting Bears on Sunday. Carson Palmer threw for five touchdowns with no interceptions in the blowout victory. Cincinnati improved to 5-2 with the win while Chicago dropped to 3-3 on the NFL season.

The Bengals also made short work of the NFL pointspread, easily covering as +1' home underdogs. Cincinnati improved to 4-3 against the number while Chicago evened their ATS mark at 3-3. The 55 combined points sailed OVER the posted total of 42'.

A happy Benson described his feelings after the win:

"Everybody knew it was going to be an emotional day. Everybody knew. What a wonderful day and a wonderful thing, to go out there and strut your stuff."

Despite the evidence to the contrary, Benson downplayed the motive of revenge:

"I continue to be as graceful as I can be. I'm not shoving anything in anybody's face. Like I say, it wasn't a revenge day for me. I just wanted to take advantage of the opportunities."

He said his biggest problem was trying to keep his emotions in check:

"There were a few times where I may have gotten a little too hyped up, a little too antsy. A couple of drives, I found myself having to calm myself down and gather my emotions to stay poised. Once I got past that, we were good to go. Keep it rolling."

Bengals' receiver Chad Ochocinco had 10 catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns. He shared his thoughts postgame:

"I don't understand why it went this way today and why it didn't go that way last week or the week before that. The offensive line played unbelievable. For Ced to run the way he did today and for us to be able to throw, we could have done what we wanted to do."

Chicago gave up more points than in any game all season, a fact that left defensive end Alex Brown looking for answers:

"That was pretty embarrassing. It's embarrassing to come out and play like that. I tip my hat to their whole team. Cedric ran the ball like crazy. They did whatever they wanted to do."

The Bengals will enjoy a bye week before hosting the Baltimore Ravens on November 8. They'll then play two games on the road at Pittsburgh and Oakland. Chicago will try to get back on track this Sunday as they host the Cleveland Browns. They'll host the Arizona Cardinals the following Sunday before heading west for a Thursday night game against the San Francisco 49ers on November 12.

Preparation before Quitting Smoking

By Darren Warmuth

Quitting smoking is not the first thing you should do; it is the last step of the journey, and it will happen on its own when you are ready for it. So, you need to concentrate on the preparation for quitting smoking rather than the act of quitting smoking.

For most smokers the thought of quitting rarely crosses their minds. That is until one factor or another brings the idea to the forefront of their thoughts. Perhaps they have had a health scare. Perhaps they are finally noticing the toll that smoking is taking on their bodies. Whatever the reason is doesn't matter. What does matter is that in actually taking the steps to quit, education and preparation MUST come before you stop.

You cannot quit smoking before getting ready to quit. This preparedness includes educating yourself on all the steps of the process, the common pitfalls and how to overcome them amongst other things. Just as it would be silly to start sewing your daughter's wedding dress just because you bought a new sewing machine, in the same way you can't just quit smoking by just taking a vow that you are going to become a non-smoker. You will make a mess of the dress and as for quitting smoking you will most probably get so discouraged by your lack of will power that you wouldn't attempt giving it up for a long time to come.

Scour the internet. Look at the available stop smoking programs and really compare them. Don't just buy the first one you see. And make sure that the program you are buying is grounded in education and preparation about quitting first and supplements or cessation aids second. You should be encouraged to take your time to learn and prepare as opposed to placing your faith in a product that states that there is no effort required on your part.

Nothing is farther from the truth than such a statement. You cannot gain something for nothing. Your effort is most crucial. However, it is important to remember that quitting is the last step. It is the goal, not the path. But the truth is that the path is long and arduous and you need all your strength and determination to travel on it. Your success depends on how well you have prepared for the journey you are going to undertake. Quitting is the easy part - you just stop. So make sure you have all the information you need, before you try to quit smoking, and then there is no way you can fail to achieve your target of becoming a non-smoker.

Happy Quitting,

Darren Warmuth

Guides On Choosing The Perfect Wedding Venues For Bridal Photography

By Mark Stevens

The choice of a marriage venue is always top of the list of priority for any wedding preparations. Be it an old fashioned or contemporary venue, it plays a very important role in the overall experience of the marriage, which is captured in wedding pictures for eternity.

The couple's expectations must clearly be conveyed to the wedding photographers, whose job is a very important part of the marriage ceremony. An established bridal photographer should know how to capture the beauty of the bride as well as of the venue in his photographs. It is a tough balance to strike and the photographer requires a lot of experience to be able to do it properly.

Every venue offers its own exclusive features and backdrop for bridal photography. Those with a traditional bent of mind want marriages to be solemnized inside churches or other houses of worship, while others prefer modern venues. Places of worship, with their impressive architecture, can form a very good backdrop for bridal photography.

But it is not that simple to get the correct marriage photographs inside most venues. The vicinity of the venue can be explored for a scenic outdoor spot that can be used to shoot the bridal and wedding photographs in this case. In fact, as wedding photographers have an excellent deal of knowledge about these matters; it may help if you just make the photographer accompany you while searching for a venue.

Choosing the venue, even though most important, is just one of the numerous considerations you must keep in mind to get the perfect wedding and bridal photographs. Most great venues have some type of natural beauty about them and the next task for wedding photographers is to enhance that beauty. Once that is done, it is all down to the talent of the photographer in ensuring that the photographs come out the way you expect them to.

Reality Television Shows

By Wayne Torres

Television networks are producing more factual and realistic shows to attract general viewing public. The masses seem to have more interests in watching ordinary people doing exuberant stuff.

Reality shows have become popular in the past few years among general viewing public. These hour long episodes attract attention because ordinary men become the cast of the program and they are in an unscripted situation struggling to reach their targets and perform tasks in the best manner in actual events.

TV reality shows are of various types. Talk shows, dating shows, game shows or elimination shows, makeovers, hidden camera shows, hoaxes, documentary programs & renovations are different varieties of reality programs started by TV networks.

General public remains tireless watching these reality shows. The people participating in the reality shows with new faces are unfamiliar to the camera. Contestants aren't too comfortable with the camera on them.

More often than not, viewers can get a glimpse of their anxiety as they compete with the other contestants. An example of such would be The Amazing Race. This show is focused on a set of contestants that travels around the world and racing each other in beating several clues that would bring them closer to the monetary prize.

When the participants hurry through the airports, do not understand local language, getting flights in schedule and the competition in the participants increases the anxiety which can be easily seen on television by the public.

Anxiety is not common among the actors in the daily soaps. This anxiety makes the shows more realistic and connects us to the facts.

Another example is the famous show Fear Factor, where we find contestants doing hazardous things to compete against each other. These activities are horrible and scary for some people.

Participants in the Fear Factor struggle with their own fear and anxiety in a way one can't just imagine. They eat living insects, jump from a height of three hundred feet in the air and get locked with snakes in the coffin.

It's the fear and anxiety of contestants that can hype up the viewers. This reality is the enjoyment for public and people are coming closer to know what's real and what's not on the television. Entertainment is evolving to get a different outlook leaving behind the old fictions.

Learning the Mechanics of Speed Reading

By Dr. Jay Polmar

The mind is a source of immeasurable power, and we only use a tiny portion of it. In the book, "Speed Reading in only One Hour" I show you how to tap some of that unused power and how to use it for your own improved grades in high school, college, and great successes life.

Your brain can understand from 10,000 to 50,000 bits of data per minute; one bit equates to one word. Although this information comes from old statistics (1980's),. based on recently developed speed reading technology, and strides in various types of learning technology, you can achieve phenomenal reading speeds.

In the US the average HS grad, when tested, reads about 250 words per minute. The average US college student reads at an average of about 300 words per minute. But, no matter what your starting reading speed when you are tested, don't worry, it is only the beginning. Can you imagine what an advantage you will have to be able to read over 100% faster than you had before? 200% 300% -- The possibilities are limitless.

We receive information through our five physical senses, (touching, tasting, hearing, smelling, and seeing) and by those we make decisions. We make choices and judgments from the factors that our physical senses bring into play. The five physical senses (sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch) are preprogrammed for automatic reaction.

We learn in various ways, beyond the physical senses, through other forms of thought. Much of human thinking is conscious in nature. Senses, however, are totally automatic. An example of might be: when a hungry teenager smells pizza, he or she might start tasting in and even salivating. What's taking place is that the sense of smell has automatically brought up a thought, "PIZZA", to the brain and mind. The thought might be unconscious.

Sensing food is a physical sensation through smell. It is a mental sensation (unconsciously or consciously) through thought. And lastly there is a physical sensation through eating, swallowing, and smiling. To summarize the PIZZA adventure: Brain and mind is where the "action" is taking place. Body is where the "reaction" is taking place.

The brain and the mind hold enormous untapped potential; We're going to help you tap into that potential through Speed Reading in One Hour, available at speedread.org, and we'll show you how you can succeed in your college life and beyond.

Boston Bruins' Scoring Legend Phil Esposito

By Ross Everett

Although many of his offensive records have now been left in the dust by Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux, former Boston Bruins/New York Rangers center Phil Esposito is still regarded by hockey experts as one of the greatest players in NHL history.

Esposito was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and his prodigious hockey talent quickly became apparent. He was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks as a teenager, and made his NHL debut in'64. In'67, Esposito was traded to the Boston Bruins along with Ken Hodge and Fred Stanfield. Within a few years Hodge and Stanfield blossomed into All Stars, while Esposito quickly took his place alongside his former teammate Hull as the best scorer in the league.

Esposito began to shred the NHL record book in Boston, prompting Bruins fans to display car bumper stickers that read Jesus Saves; Esposito scores on the rebound. In'69, he became the first NHL player to top the 100 point mark (combined goals and assists) for the season"he obliterated the record with 126 points, which would be the first of six times that hed top the century mark. He topped 100 points in five straight seasons between'71 and'75, missing a sixth straight season by a single point with 99 in'70.

Esposito's greatest single season was in'70-71, when he destroyed the NHL's single season goal scoring mark with 76. That record stood until Wayne Gretzky of the Edmonton Oilers broke it in'81-82. Even now, only four other players including Gretzky have scored more than 150 points in a season and only five others have scored more than 76 goals in a season. Perhaps the most amazing element of Espositos game was the frequency with which he put the puck on net"Espo had 550 shots on goal in'70-71. No one has since come close.

In'75, Esposito was traded with Brad Park to the New York Rangers for Brad Park, Joe Zanussi and Jean Ratelle. He had slowed somewhat, but was still enough of a valuable player and team leader that he was named the Rangers' captain. He remained a very dangerous scoring threat until the end of his career.

After his retirement in'75, he remained active in hockey. He served as the GM of the Rangers before helping secure an expansion team for Tampa, Florida in'92. Esposito served as the President and GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning until'98. After stepping away from formal duties, he's remained a very visible member of the hockey media. He hosts a daily hockey radio show on XM Radio, and has even done some acting appearing in a recurring role as a fire chief on the TV series Rescue Me.
