The Easy Way To Copy Wii Games Using Your Burner

By Scott Frayburn

Are you wondering if there is a way to copy Wii games? If you are - you're not alone! We have been getting a number of emails about this so we decided to write a quick article about copying Wii games.

Almost everyone with a computer has used their burner their burner before. "Ripping" music CDs is extremely common - there's a good chance you have done this before. However, you can't use the same software that you use to burn a music cd to make a copy of a video game.

Why is this?

All video game discs are equipped with a type of protection that prevents your computer from being able to produce copies. The companies that make video games have developed these "copyright guards" so that your computer can't recognize the discs - this prevents it from being able to make a copy.

With this problem in mind, certain software companies set out to solve this issue by developing a program that is able to bypass these protections and allow your computer to read Wii games. By using this specialized software, all of a sudden video game discs "make sense" to your PC.

These game-copying programs aren't only for Wii games. You can also use them to copy PS3, xbox 360 or any other video game that is on a disc.

If you want to try a risk-free trial for this type of program you can use the link at the bottom of this article.

Although the technology behind these programs is complex, using the program is a snap. You just put the Wii game into your disk drive, let your computer make an "image" of it, and then insert a blank CD-R or DVD-R that your computer than copies the image onto.

It's a great feeling to be able to copy Wii games using your computer and your burner. This gives you a way to backup all of your existing games and make copie of any other Wii game you pick up. Enjoy!
