Plan A Great Las Vegas Golf Trip

By Charles Davis

Golfing in Las Vegas can be an experience of a lifetime with exotic views, fantastic greens, and challenging courses. When you plan a golfing trip in Las Vegas you should plan a trip of a lifetime. Take into consideration a few factors before booking your trip.

Now first thing I usually consider is the budget. Is this going to be a luxury trip or are we shopping for discount golf in Las Vegas. Discount golf in Las Vegas is easy to come by and offers a variety of amenities.

One way to avoid paying more than you have to would be to refrain from traveling during peak times. If you travel during peak travel times then everything from hotel room to airfare will cost more. You will also want to look into the events and activities occurring in Vegas when you want to visit. The more events going on the higher volume of people which means the hotel rates will be higher.

Las Vegas is not only known for the casinos, lights, and gambling but it is also known for its great weather. There is hardly ever a day where it is not hot and sunny which makes for perfect golf weather. Even though it may be one hundred degrees outside, the green will still look great.

If you want to take your family with you to Vegas, then do not hesitate. There are many activities for children and teens as well as adults. Theme parks, circuses, exhibits, and roller coasters are scattered all throughout the strip of Las Vegas.

Some resort packages in the city will include a golfing in your itinerary. This however limits you to their selection of courses. That said, it does not mean that the courses are below standard by any means. A returning golfer might want some variety.

If you want to be treated like a star in Vegas then you should tip the service workers. A good tip would be fifteen percent of the total but you could tip more or less based on their service. If you are playing golf do not forget about tipping your caddy. Taxi drivers, room service, valet drivers and bell boys are other people you may want to tip.

Golfing in Las Vegas could be a great trip with the family or with your fellow golfers. Keep your budget in mind when selecting a course and remember to go during the off peak season. Select a course that you feel comfortable with since there are so many to choose from. Lastly, enjoy the trip and golfing in Vegas.
