By Bart Icles

Have you ever taken a good look at your blank wall and wished it was more fun and attractive? Have you ever looked for ways on how you can improve the appearance of your plainly painted walls? More than just splashing attractive paint colors on your walls, there are many other walls on how you can improve the interior of your home. One way is through writing on walls. You got it right, writing on walls like graffiti.

Graffiti has always received a negative connotation. These days however, it has earned a more positive reputation for it is now considered an art form. Originally associated with walls on the sides of the streets, graffiti has now found its way art galleries, malls, and even homes. The modern society has slowly started to accept it as a way of decorating not only exterior walls but also interior walls. It has become a form of expressing personality through interior design.

Many people consider graffiti as a form of expression of the modern society but little do they know that writing on walls has been around since the ancient times. Even the classical Romans had their way with graffiti. They used this art form to express their sentiments from the most sexually explicit and obscene to the most inspiring and even political ones.

Today, graffiti is often associated with the hip-hop culture. Lots of tributes for hip-hop legends have been conveyed through colorful graffiti artwork. However, the masters of hip-hop are not the only ones who have received graffiti artwork as tributes, even political and social icons have been the subject of graffiti designs. Love, peace, happiness, unity, anger, pain, and many other emotions and ideas are often communicated through graffiti and these have been the inspirations for writing on walls found in many homes these days.

It can be costly to have someone render graffiti artwork on your walls. If you want to add spice and personality to your home but you cannot afford nor do not have the time for graffiti artwork, then you might want to consider having them on vinyl. You need not waste a lot of time and energy on graffiti artwork and you do not need to deal with all the mess. All you would need is a design and you can have them printed on vinyl material. Then, you just need to stick them neatly on your wall and presto! You now have graffiti artwork on your wall. Writing on walls need not be expensive and messy. You simply need to contact your local vinyl store or look for one through the internet.

When you start to plan your summer wedding the very first thing you need to consider after the guest list is the wedding invitations. These set the tone for the wedding and are the first step in competing all the steps on the way to your goal. The goal of organizing the perfect wedding celebration! Tropical wedding invitations are elegant and stylish and allow your friends and family to know that you are planning a wedding with a summer theme.

Tropical and summer themed weddings are very trendy, and invitations based on this theme can be a little more off the wall. They are not so traditional and bright colors may be used to reflect this theme. They can be made by your-self, designed by a professional or customized and purchased at online stores.

Summer weddings are beautiful, they can be held out-of-doors, in gardens, vineyards, on the beach, in parks, national parks, in fact at any beautiful outdoors venue, and these generally cost less. To convey the spirit of romance and excitement to your family and friends your invitations should be unique and elegant.

Tropical themes can be floral, and floral designs are one of the most popularly chosen for invitations. There are thousands of varieties of flowers you are able to use, and a favorite tropical flower is the hibiscus. Using color combinations of sea-blue and green with beige, or turquoise and brown, even hot pink for this flower, can still set the tone for an elegant, yet light-hearted occasion.

Tropical themes are trendy and you are able to use ribbon or straw, sand, shells, palm trees, beach sunsets, lovers walking hand-in-hand, foot prints in the sand, dolphins, hearts drawn in the sand, all kinds of ideas. These ideas are all so exciting and romantic.

Invitations can be decorated with beach sand sprinkled onto glued paper, with small shells, starfish, dolphins, and with ribbons, thread or twine for added decoration. To make these invitations yourself, you can find all these necessities at your local scrap-booking shop. If you don't have the time or inclination, your tropical themed invitations can be done by many different stores which make them unique and don't charge the earth.

Your First Pet Guinea Pig - A Guide to Making It Feel At Home

By Terri White

Guinea pigs can make great pets - they're not too big, they don't bite and are generally very calm and friendly: perfect for those who don't want the responsibility of a dog or a cat. But they still need a good amount of space and certain other supplies before you take them home. Just use this article as a guide to what you can expect from your new pet!

Getting Your Supplies Ready

Your new pet guinea pig is a responsibility, and may live between 5 to 7 years. This is why it's important to get everything ready for them before you bring them home. Their cage will need to be spacious and include bedding, a water bottle, a covered sleeping area and food. It's also a good idea to give them a chew toy to play with.

Your Pet Guinea Pig is Part of the Family!

Just like you, they need space to eat, sleep and to move around. Its recommended that you give each guinea pig at least 2 square feet to run around in " though youll probably need more since guinea pigs are best off in groups of two or more " and the bigger cage you can get for them the better! They need the space to roam and enjoy their lives, and if you give them a comfortable home you can be sure they wont try to escape very often!

As well as the space to move around, make sure they have room to hide. If you have more than one guinea pig, they each need to have their own covered space to sleep and to take cover.

Helping Your Pet Get Used to Its New Home

One thing youll quickly learn about guinea pigs is that they scare easily. Hovering around their cage staring at them can cause them to panic " so give them time to adjust to their new home and environment, and kneel down whenever you want to look at them.

In order to strengthen the bond with your new pet, always be gentle when it comes to stroking them. Once they get used to you it's ok to pick them up and hold them. Just make sure to remember how delicate they can be, and always support their whole bodies.

The good news is that guinea pigs dont bite, but itll take a while of bonding before it becomes completely relaxed around you. Once it does, your new pet guinea pig will firmly be part of the family!

What Do You Do With Old Hangers

By Larry Swanson

There are moments in our lives when we realize that we have a lot of stuff in our homes and we also realize how much of it we do not use anymore. From toaster ovens, to stools, to VHS players and beyond the list of things that we no longer use can be very lengthy. The reason for this is simple. If your home is like this you likely struggle to throw things away when you should. Hangers however, is one those things that the majority of people struggle to throw away.

We use hangers in our home all the time because it keeps things neat and organized, but what do we do with the old hangers to keep them neat and organized. For those who cannot stand the idea of throwing away old, but perfectly good hangers, here are some ideas that you can consider.

One option is to spread the old hangers out throughout the closets in your home. This will make it so that no closet is over burdened with the old hangers, but you will still have them for those times when guest come to visit. Speaking of guest coming into town, the most common time is the holidays. You can also use those old hangers to hang the stockings from, as part of the holiday decorations.

Craft projects are another great way to use old hangers. I have seen wire hangers bent into a frame, shaped into a design and hung on the wall as art and soldered together to create abstract designs to decorate the home with. The only limit to the use of old hangers is your ability to come up with clever and creative ideas.

You can also use them as ornaments that go in your plants or yard. Wooden hangers work well to accent hanging potted plants that are in your yard. You can even make wire hangers into a flowerpot.

Children love to play with bubbles. You can use a hanger to help produce some really big bubbles. This is a great summertime activity while they are swimming in those little inflatable pools. All it takes is some soapy water or bubble liquid and a wire hanger stretched to make a round looking hole

In the past many people used wire hangers as an antenna for their television when you could get analog signals over the air. They are still great antennas for radios that are missing the antenna.

There are many things that you can reuse a hanger for. So those people who not like to throw things away, at least with hangers, you will not need to. Whatever you do, make sure that you declutter those old hangers out of the closet though so that they do not cause other parts of your life to backup and clutter as well.

Book Your Holyhead Car Rental, Collect When Leaving Holyhead Ferries

By David Phillips

When you plan a visit to Holyhead, car rental may be one of your top considerations if you want your Anglesey island vacation to go smoothly. Equally, you may be searching for car rentals in Holyhead because you are visiting the island on business by air from Cardiff Wales International. There's also the possibility that as someone using the Dublin Holyhead ferry as foot passenger, you need a car for your onward journey in the UK.

Don't leave booking your Holyhead car hire until the last moment, whichever way you plan to get to the island, by train, ferry, coach or flight from Cardiff. The service for car rentals in Holyhead has increased with the recent growth and investment around the Port of Holyhead and with the opening of Anglesey Airport at RAF Valley, providing the north south Wales air link.

The main car hire providers in and around Holyhead are branches of national car rental companies and so you know that there will be possibilities for one way car hire, where you leave the car at the onward destination. All three of the main Holyhead car rental providers offer a wide range of vehicles to chose from, whether you want a small Fiesta model, a mid-range Mondeo, a Mercedes salon, or perhaps a 7 seater people carrier.

If you give enough notice the car rental firms may be able to reserve an automatic drive vehicle for you, and you may have the choice of a diesel engine or unleaded option, but this cannot be guaranteed for a given model. The Holyhead car rentals companies also offer minibuses which can carry between 12 and 17 people. A minimum rental period for hire cars from any of the firms operating near Holyhead Port is one day.

You can find the compound for Hertz, one of the car hire firms, located near the Fishing harbour at the Port of Holyhead, while Quayside garage is based at Gaerwen and Practical Car and Van Rental is in Valley. As you arrive on your Cardiff Anglesey flight at the airport at RAF Valley, your car will be waiting for you with a full tank of fuel, and all you need do is complete the required paperwork and you're ready to go.

An important consideration is the option your Holyhead car rental firm will offer you, which is to pay a small extra premium which then means the excess on the insurance policy is waived in the event of you having an accident. The excess you might have to pay on your Holyhead car hire varies depending on the insurance policy and vehicle size. This can vary from around 500 to 600, and so it is probably better to pay a little more each day.

So all is done except the paperwork for your car hire. What will the car rental firm need from you? Make sure you have proof that you are legally entitled to drive, so have your driving licence with you. Payment will usually by credit or debit card and it may help to have a copy of an utility bill for proof of address.

For making bookings with these car hire companies the best time to contact them is between 9 and 5 on Monday to Saturday, while Sundays may not be a good time to get through. You want to arrive on Anglesey for your business engagement or vacation without hassle, and so your best move is to book your Holyhead car rental early and enjoy the experience.

Cars can be considered as one of the greatest inventions ever. The effortless way with which a car goes is a spectacle in itself. People can forget the time when they had to travel for miles on foot. Going from place to place has now been simplified because of the car. To live without it would be difficult.

The Germans and the Japanese are known to be the best when it comes to manufacturing cars. It is good when these car manufacturers' competition with one another is done through making their cars got an edge over the competitor. This only benefits the consumers.

Whoever the manufacturer, it is important that a person takes caution in choosing a car. Certain considerations must be noted before finally purchasing one.

The price of the car is one of the most important concerns that people have. It goes that the best cars are usually expensive. These are the newest cars made by known manufacturers. Most people can only dream of having one since these cars are way expensive than the ordinary one. Just like clothing, one also pays for the brand of the car. The aesthetic quality of the car is another important matter. How big it should be is a very practical concern. If you are single and you want to go out at night, a convertible might be best. You can feel the cool night air while checking out various places and people. For a family car, the bigger, the better, for you will need the extra space in placing in equipments needed for family outings or when going shopping. Men who want to impress their friends and the women opt for big cars to emphasize their masculinity.

For people who literally would want to live life in the fast lane, speed is an essential factor. When buying a car, ask the dealer if the engine of the car is suited for a swift drive.

The amount of fuel-intake of a car is also another thing to consider. This is important since it can cost you too much if your car eats up fuel fast. The faster cars are often the ones with high fuel-intake.

Vintage cars have also become popular nowadays. Though these cars are not usually used for driving, they are great collection items especially if their previous owners are famous personalities. These cars are a favorite among the rich consumers more than the ordinary buyer.
